I have no data on 252's service on the A&Y. According to R.E. Prince's roster data, this locomotive was ordered by the Southern Railway and built in Richmond during 1900. Prior to 1903 this locomotive was #239. After service on the A&Y, it was scrapped at Hayne Shop in May, 1938.
