This freight 4-6-0 was retired in March 1934. Originally a CF&YV locomotive, it was sold to the Southern as part of the A&Y and eventually became part of class E. Under Southern ownership it may have started as A&Y #30, but was renumbered #699 by 1902. In 1903, it was renumbered to #1413 to fit with other acquired E class locomotives. In 1907 to make room for new Pacifics, the class was renumbered from #14xx to #34xx and this locomotive became #3413 until retirement.
