Virginia’s Dick & Willie

The D&W (known locally as the Dick & Willie) was a Virginia short line railroad connecting Danville with Stuart, with a branch south to Leaksville, NC. It operated from 1880 until it was absorbed into Southern Railway in the mid-1960s.
