This
is the only known photograph of a D&W freight car, taken at the
Norfolk & Western Ry. Passenger station in Martinsville, VA.
It appears to be #1135, one of 100 cars apparently purchased ca.
1917, and must have been taken when the car was relatively new, prior
to being re-lettered "SOUTHERN".
